Hi! Kyle and Reece here! You may call us Kyle Reece, KyReece, or “hey, you guys!” Whatever suits your fancy. We’re a desert-loving duo who love the warm sun and sandy red rock of southern Utah. Because our love and commitment to each other has only gotten stronger since our wedding day 8 years ago, we decided it was time to start sharing that love with a new addition to our family. We’re thrilled to be on this journey to start our family through adoption, and we’re ready to provide a child with a warm, loving, and supportive home. Oh!––and with a snuggly little mini schnauzer named Myles.

Kyle—According to Reece:

Kyle is the type of person that will give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. And while that may sound cliché, I honestly think I’ve never heard him say “no” to a niece, nephew, or other family member when they’ve reached out and asked for something. Whether it be looking after his older brother with severe special needs, laying sod at his in-law’s, or filming and editing his niece’s student council campaign videos, Kyle is right there and fully focused on that task. He loves to be the fun uncle that plays with the little kids and jumps right in to their fun, imaginative play. Every time I see him do this, I can’t help but think what an outstanding father he’ll be.

Kyle goes out of his way to make sure everyone around him feels valued and important. This also translates into his professional life. As a dental assistant, he has a way with his patients, both new and familiar, to make them feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe—things we all need sitting in the dental chair. At home, Kyle is an affectionate and attentive husband. He picks up on my emotions and my needs quickly and acts immediately to make my day better. Yet another quality that will make him an outstanding father. Kyle is a planner and very detailoriented. He has the ability to see both the bigger and the smaller picture for any given situation. He does his research whenever faced with a challenging situation so that he can approach it in the most educated way.

Kyle is my rock. He calms me as I battle life’s storms. He makes his family his priority above all else. I can’t wait to see him as a father. It is a role that he was made for.

Reece—According to Kyle:

I fell in love with Reece not just because of his handsome face, sexy freckles, and adorable smile. I also fell in love with his charm and sense of humor. Reece is never afraid to be silly or goofy. He can make even the grumpiest person laugh. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as hard or as often as I have during our years together. His joy and love for life are contagious. His genuine, caring heart makes him an outstanding friend and incredible husband. His greatest strength is his ability to socialize and make new friends. I can’t even begin to count how many times we’ve been stopped in a store or waved to at a restaurant by someone who considers him a friend. He’s always the guy at the party who everyone is excited to see and whom everyone wants to go talk to. At home, Reece is an avid reader. His favorite way to unwind is to curl up on a couch, bed, or pool chair and read a book from his very long to-read list.

When Reece was in college, he worked at Disney World for a summer and had one of the best summers of his life there. He loves anything Disney. You haven’t been on a Disney trip until you’ve been on one with Reece. He knows everything there is to know about Disneyland and Disney World, which makes Disney trips so much more fun!

Thanks to Reece’s career as an elementary school teacher for over a decade now, he is a master at connecting with children and making them feel special. His ability to teach and guide even the toughest of kids makes me excited to see him become a dad. Now that he has a masters degree in special education, I know I will be going to him quite often for parenting advice.

Probably my favorite thing about Reece is his ability to let go and forgive. He never lets a bad moment get in the way of his commitment to loving me or anyone in his family. No matter how tough life gets, he never loses sight of what’s most important. He is my heaven, my safe space. He is my person. He is the one I go to when I’m having a bad day. He is the one I want to spend my time with when I’m having a good day. He is my everything. I am so excited to see him become a dad. I don’t know anyone else more qualified or capable than he is.

Our Interests and Hobbies:

We both have a passion for music and performing. We grew up in homes filled with singing,
opportunities to learn musical instruments, and performing frequently in both church and
community settings. We continue to perform frequently as adults and love performing together. Kyle is also a talented video editor. He has created masterfully beautiful wedding videos, effective business advertisements, and student council campaign videos that have made entire student bodies erupt in cheers. Reece can often be found on-stage in various community theater productions. He has played several lead and supporting roles, including SpongeBob SquarePants in The SpongeBob Musical, Terk in Disney’s Tarzan, and LeFou in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Recently, Kyle joined Reece in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. You NEED to see Kyle’s Elvis impersonation. It is life changing. Together we also love spending cozy evenings at home with a good movie or hosting game nights with friends. Our home is filled with laughter, warmth, and lots of love, and we can’t wait to share these experiences with our future child.

Our Family and Values:

Family is at the heart of everything we do. It is what has brought us to where we are today and why we have chosen to establish roots here in Hurricane, UT. We’re both very close with our extended families (who are just as excited as we are to welcome a new member to the bunch). Kyle’s entire family lives nearby, and Reece’s sister and parents live within 25 minutes of our home, so there will be plenty of grandparents and cousins to play with! We believe in creating a home where kindness, empathy, and open communication are key values. We’re committed to raising our child with a strong sense of self, respect for others, and a curiosity about the world around them.

What We’re Looking For:

Although we may never fully comprehend just how difficult this decision is to place your child for adoption, we love you and honor you for having the courage to do what you feel is best for your child. We thank you for taking the time to consider us as an option. We want you to know that we will cherish and adore your child and provide them with a safe, stable, and nurturing home for them to thrive in. No matter your child’s race, ethnicity, or culture, we are open to all of it. We also believe it’s important for our child to know their full story, so we hope to maintain an open adoption (or as open as you’re willing to do).

Our Promise to You:

We promise to love your child unconditionally, to support them in all their dreams, and to provide them with every opportunity to succeed in life. Our home will be a place of laughter, learning, and endless love. We are ready to embark on this journey and can’t wait to share our lives with this child. Thank you for considering us as potential parents. We hope that this profile has given you a glimpse of the loving and supportive home we’re eager to share. We’re looking forward to the possibility of meeting you and learning more about your hopes and dreams for your child.
