Lindsey Blackburn – Building Blocks Center Director
Lindsey Hamilton Blackburn is the Program Director of Building Blocks Childcare Center of Children’s Service Society of Utah, where she has worked to build, develop, and lead a high-quality childcare and preschool program for underserved families in the Taylorsville area. Lindsey began her career as an early childhood teacher and brings years of hands-on classroom experience, center operations, and program management, paired with a passion for serving children and families in the community. Since the acquisition of Building Blocks by Children’s Service Society in 2021, she has overseen the center’s transformation into a safe, nurturing, and high-quality rated learning environment for children ages 6 months to 5 years old. She holds a National Administrator Credential (NAC) and is pursuing a college degree in early childhood education.
In addition to her work in childcare administration, Lindsey actively participates in leadership trainings, early education conferences, and professional development initiatives. As part of Utah’s oldest non-denominational child welfare and family support agency, she is dedicated to advancing opportunities for children and families and providing accessible, affordable, high-quality care within the community.
