Becky Davis – Adoption Assistant and Post-Adoption Specialist
Becky has been with the Children’s Service Society since 1998 in various positions. She currently assists the adoption staff, and as the Post-Adoption Specialist is the overseer of the agency’s adoption records. Her expertise and knowledge of all aspects of the adoption program has been a valuable asset to the team.
Becky runs our Connections Program, which she founded in 2001. This confidential intermediary program has helped to reunite hundreds of adult adoptees and birth parents with their biological families. Becky has twice chaired committees to change laws regarding closed adoption records, and has spoken at Capitol Hill on behalf of open records. She is a passionate advocate of adoptee access to their original birth certificate.
Becky moonlights as a Professional Genealogist, in addition to a myriad of hobbies and creative pursuits. She is on the Board of Directors for Sandbox Theatre Company, and sometimes acts in local community theater.
