Leigh Gibson
As vice president of Intrepid, a Utah-based communication and crisis management firm, Leigh provides expert counsel to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, professional sports teams, and nonprofits, among others.
She has a unique skill set that combines several years working as a print journalist with extensive public relations and crisis, issues and reputation management experience. This allows her to provide expert counsel from the media perspective along with solid communication strategy.
Leigh has been on the front lines of war-torn Iraq and on the front lines of proactive media pitches, crisis response, strategic development and execution, and marcomm project management—attacking every job with the mettle of a seasoned reporter.
She is well respected for her work ethic and tenacity and was recognized as Utah’s Professional Communicator of the year in 2024. Her work earned numerous Golden Spike Awards as well as the public relation’s industry’s highest honor—the Silver Anvil award from the Public Relations Society of America.
