Julie and Jeremy
Welcome to Our World!
Hello! We’re Jeremy and Julie, and we’re so grateful you’re here. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us and our hearts. We know that reading family profiles often comes during a time filled with big emotions and important decisions, and we truly honor the care and love you are showing by being here.
Our hope is to give you a glimpse into what life with us feels like: steady, joyful, full of family, and rooted in love. Our hearts and home are ready to welcome a child with open arms, laughter, bedtime stories, and all the small, meaningful moments that make a family.

- Our Story: From Two States to One Loving Family
Our story began across two states and one unexpected Christmas wish. Julie was living in sunny California, while Jeremy was in snowy Utah, when we met online. From the very beginning, conversation came easily. We spent hours talking, laughing, and discovering how much we shared in common. Within a month, we both felt that something truly special was unfolding.
One evening, Julie overheard her niece whispering to Santa, “Please give my Aunt Julie a boyfriend for Christmas.” When Julie shared that moment with Jeremy, he smiled and said, “Let’s make that wish come true.”
Not long after, our story continued with a proposal at the airport, surrounded by family and happy tears. Today, we’re celebrating more than a decade of marriage built on friendship, faith, laughter, and a deep commitment to one another. Through every season, we’ve learned how to support each other, communicate openly, and grow stronger together. That steady foundation is what we’re most excited to share with a child.
- Why Adoption?
Adoption has always felt close to our hearts. We believe family is built through love, intention, and showing up for one another every day. Our home is ready for finger-painted art on the fridge, bedtime routines, silly songs, and the comforting rhythm of everyday life.
We picture mornings with cereal spills and laughter, afternoons at the park or coloring at the kitchen table, and evenings winding down with stories, prayers, and snuggles. As our child grows, we imagine Sunday nights gathered around the table playing board games, family movie nights curled up on the couch, and the steady security that comes from sharing simple moments together over time. These are the moments we’re longing for and the love we’re ready to give.
- Jeremy: Tech Wiz by Day, Family Man by Heart (as told by Julie)
Jeremy may spend his workdays immersed in technology as a Systems Engineer using his Computer Science degree, but his favorite role by far is being surrounded by family. As the oldest of six boys, he takes pride in being a big brother, balancing responsibility with humor and fun. His brothers are his closest friends, and whether they’re playing basketball or football, watching a game, or just spending time together, family is always at the center of his life.
Jeremy is also the kind of uncle every kid adores. He throws footballs in the yard, bowls strikes, flies drones, joins in on TikTok dances, lets his nieces put makeup on him, and happily snuggles in for movie night. With his patience and playful spirit, he has a natural way of making kids feel completely at ease and deeply loved. I can already picture him teaching our child new skills and spending time together doing everyday 'dad' things. I see him helping with homework, teaching how to ride a bike, and being a steady, loving presence that builds a foundation of trust for every stage of life.
What I admire most about Jeremy is his steady heart. He’s quick to forgive, slow to anger, and always leads with kindness. Watching him with our nieces and nephews, I see a dad who will show up consistently, listen closely, encourage openly, and love unconditionally. I know he will fill our home with joy, curiosity, laughter, and meaningful experiences, creating a place where a child feels safe, supported, and deeply valued.
- Julie: A Heart Full of Love and Adventure (as told by Jeremy)
Julie is the most caring and selfless person I know, with “mom vibes” that shine through everything she does. With a background in teaching, she spent years nurturing and guiding her students in California before moving to Utah. She now works remotely for an online dating company, helping others find meaningful connections and love.
Julie has a natural warmth that makes people feel welcome and valued. She loves baking, dancing around the house when no one’s watching, and taking on creative DIY projects just for fun. Fall is her favorite season, and one of our most cherished traditions is taking long drives together when the leaves begin to change. We often stop for a peaceful walk, crunching through fallen leaves and snapping a few photos before heading home.
She’s lovingly known as the “niece and nephew whisperer” in our family. Kids gravitate toward her gentle, playful spirit, and she has a gift for meeting them exactly where they are, whether that means sitting quietly with them, cheering them on, or helping them talk through big feelings. Julie lives by her personal motto, “we do for family,” and she shows it in the way she comforts, teaches, and loves without hesitation. Even though we don’t have children yet, her nurturing heart and motherly instincts are undeniable, and I know she will raise a child with compassion, joy, patience, and a deep sense of belonging.
- Our Home & Community
We live in a welcoming neighborhood filled with laughter, chalk-covered sidewalks, and friendly waves from neighbors. Our three-bedroom home is warm, cozy, and already prepared with love for the child who will one day fill it with life. There’s a nursery waiting, quiet streets for bike rides, and plenty of space for play, growth, and togetherness.
- Family & Traditions
Family is a central part of our lives. Jeremy’s family lives just ten minutes away, while Julie’s family is in California, and we stay closely connected to both, treasuring the traditions we’ve built together.
Every other year, Christmas is spent with Jeremy’s family, where Christmas Eve includes a big family dinner followed by competitive (and very loud) Minute to Win It games that always end in laughter. Summers often take us to California for the Fourth of July, where we spend time at the beach playing in the ocean, feeling the warm salty air, and staying to watch the sun set over the water before gathering around a warm bonfire as the ocean waves break in the background.
We also love gathering as a family for outdoor movie nights at home, visiting amusement parks for fast and exciting roller coaster rides, and spending the Fourth of July at the park, enjoying the day together until the sun goes down and big, beautiful fireworks light up the sky.
We look forward to one day sharing all these traditions with a child, creating new memories together and experiencing them through their eyes. Our families are incredibly supportive of our adoption journey and are eagerly awaiting the day they can welcome a new cousin, niece, nephew, or grandchild. There is already a village of love ready to surround this child.
- Our Values & Parenting Hopes
Some things are deeply important to us and guide how we live and how we hope to parent. We value faith, kindness, honesty, and compassion. We believe in creating a home where questions are welcome, feelings are safe to express, and love is unconditional.
We hope to raise a child who feels confident, supported, and deeply loved, and who understands that they are valued exactly as they are. Our goal is to provide stability, encouragement, and a strong sense of belonging.
- Openness & Relationship
We believe adoption is built on trust, respect, and honesty. We are open to maintaining a relationship with you that feels right and comfortable for you. We imagine sharing photos and updates, celebrating milestones, and speaking openly and lovingly about you as part of our child’s story. We want our child to grow up knowing how deeply they were loved from the very beginning.
- Thank You & Our Promise to You
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and consider us. Even though we have not met, we have been praying for you and for peace and comfort for you as you make the decision that feels best for you and your baby.
We promise to honor your love, courage and trust by providing a home filled with love, stability, laughter, and opportunity. We will raise this child with strong values, open hearts, and deep respect for the incredible story that brought our family together. We hope you can feel just how beautifully your child could fit into our lives and how much love is waiting for them here.
