Adrienne and Tanner

We are Tanner, Adrienne, and Sunny! Adventurous, active, and full of life, we love spending time outdoors, dancing in the kitchen, and kicking a soccer ball around as a family. We’re outgoing and friendly, with strong roots in faith, family, and community. We are deeply connected to our extended family and blessed with wonderful friends who feel like family, too. Making pizza together, laughing, learning, and supporting one another through every season of life is what we’re all about. After years of infertility, we were blessed with our miracle daughter, Sunny—our sunshine and constant joy. We have so much love to give and are excited to grow our family through adoption, welcoming more children into a home filled with faith, fun, and unconditional love.

Tanner is kind, thoughtful, and deeply grounded in faith and family. He grew up in Glendora, California, as the 8th of 10 children in a warm, close-knit home. From a young age, he developed a love for soccer, which he continued to pursue at BYU, where he played throughout college. After graduating with a degree in business, he returned to coach soccer at BYU, sharing his passion and leadership with others. He now works as a Team Lead and Warehouse manager and truly loves what he does. Tanner is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lives his values every day with quiet strength, humility, and a deep sense of purpose. He’s hardworking, intentional, and always striving to grow. He’s a natural at connecting with others, a steady provider, and an incredible husband and dad. Whether he’s kicking a ball, supporting his family, or playing with his daughter, his love and devotion shine through in everything he does.

Adrienne is energetic, optimistic, and full of life. She grew up in Salem, Utah, as the youngest of 8 children in a family that was close, supportive, and full of love. From a young age, she enjoyed a variety of passions—playing soccer, dancing, and learning piano—and she loved doing it all. Adrienne pursued her love of dance at BYU, where she earned a degree in dance education and spent five amazing years performing with multiple university dance companies. After graduating, she continued to dance professionally and still dances today—it’s a lifelong passion that brings her joy and creativity. She loves being outside in the sunshine, especially paddleboarding, hiking, or relaxing in the backyard with her daughter Sunny and her chickens. Adrienne also enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, going on walks, playing soccer, and listening to audiobooks. She’s always learning, growing, and bringing positive energy into her home.

How we met
We met at BYU in the same friend group, bonded over soccer, and Adrienne even taught Tanner how to do a backflip. We both served our church as missionaries, learned Spanish, and stayed connected by exchanging emails while away, always keeping our friendship.

Our marriage
Our early marriage was full of school, work, play, and wild adventures. We’ve always supported each other, with Tanner playing in soccer games and Adrienne dancing her heart out. As each other’s biggest fans, we’ve shared milestones like buying our first home and then tackling a fixer upper together, renovating it as a team.

Our relationship
After serving our missions, we reconnected and began dating. We loved spending time together—going on adventures, laughing, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Our relationship felt natural and effortless, and being together quickly became what mattered most. We married soon after and have been happily building our life together ever since.

We have always known we wanted to have children, and about a year after trying, we learned that we couldn’t have children naturally. We decided to do IVF, which was incredibly challenging, but it brought us our miracle daughter, Sunny—our sunshine and greatest blessing. Since then, we’ve continued with embryo transfer cycles, and after experiencing a miscarriage and other unsuccessful attempts, we feel it’s time to close that chapter. With open hearts and so much love to give, we are now pursuing adoption. We look forward to welcoming more children into our home and filling it with even more love, joy, and laughter.

The light of our lives

Sunny is full of sunshine, love, laughter, and songs. She has a bright, curious mind and loves being active and exploring the world around her. Sunny is a joyful little girl who adores people—especially her cousins and friends. She loves reading books and is her mom’s little “mini”, always happily following her around. Sunny lights up when she sees her dad come home from work, and every day she reminds us how truly special she is. She would love to have a sibling to share her love and adventures with.

Adventure
We love to adventure and prioritize exploring new places. Whether it’s the beach, a lake, or the mountains, we enjoy being outdoors in the sunshine, going on outings, and making memories wherever we go.

Friends and Family
We both come from large, close-knit families who are incredibly supportive and always willing to help. Along the way, we’ve also found amazing friends who have become like family, and we truly cherish these meaningful relationships.

Support
We each have our own hobbies and passions, and we fully support one another in everything we do. Whether its work, soccer, or dance, we cheer each other on and celebrate every step of the journey together.

Projects
We love taking on projects together, and renovating our home has been one of our favorites. Tackling projects isn’t just about improving our space—it’s about growing together and building a home and life we both cherish.

House
Our home is a safe, warm, and happy place with four bedrooms and room to grow. We keep it simple and cozy, filled with laughter and love. The backyard is a favorite spot—with space to play and our beloved chickens making it even more fun for kids.

Neighborhood
We live in a wonderful neighborhood filled with kind, warm people who are always willing to help. It’s a safe, welcoming community where kids are often out playing, and there’s a school just across the street, making it feel extra family-friendly.

Community
We live in an amazing community that we love. From great parks and library programs to fun events and friendly people, there’s always something to enjoy. It’s family-oriented and conveniently close to everything we need.

We live in Utah, where we spend our time hiking mountains, paddleboarding, playing soccer, dancing, and gathering around meals that nourish both body and spirit. Our 3-year-old daughter, Sunny, is joyful, kind, and curious. She brings light and energy into every room. Our days are full of laughter, creativity, and connection.

Our home is full of music, dancing, and books. We’ve built a rhythm of life that blends simplicity and adventure—whether that’s raising chickens in the backyard or taking a spontaneous road trip. We’re surrounded by a supportive extended family and a community that celebrates children and values belonging.

At the heart of everything we do is love. We believe in raising children with respect, stability, and curiosity.
