Create an adoption plan

If you decide that adoption is the right choice for you and your child, your counselor will help you develop an adoption plan, which is a plan of what your adoption will be like. You are in charge of the adoption and you get to choose the adoptive family, the amount of contact you would like with the family and your child, and the details of your hospital plan.

Choose an adoptive family

All adoptive families have been screened to make sure they are healthy and appropriate families, including background checks, special training, and detailed interviews with social workers. You can look through family profiles and meet them in person before making a decision.
