Children’s Service Society of Utah (CSS) is Utah’s oldest non-denominational child welfare agency, with a legacy of supporting our community for over 140 years.

Throughout our history, we have walked alongside thousands of birth parents, adoptive families, and adopted children offering compassionate, ethical support throughout every stage of the adoption journey. In recognition of our commitment to integrity and community care, CSS was honored with the Utah Ethical Leadership Award in 2018, celebrating our role as a trusted leader in nonprofit service and ethical adoption practices.
