- Empowered To Connect Conference
This event is great for foster parents, adoptive parents, professionals, teachers, social workers, and anyone working with children from hard places. It helps to equip families and professionals to better serve children impacted by adoption and foster care. It features Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI)
methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the TCU Institute of Child Development to help bring attachment and connection in families. Foster parents can receive credit hours. CEU’s for social workers will be offered but will require a separate fee paid directly to NASW. Link not yet available.
We hope to see you at this two-day event of the live simulcast of Empowered to Connect Conference presented by Show Hope.
Light refreshments served in morning and afternoon snack. One hour lunch on your own.
Friday & Saturday, April 26-27, 2019 10 am-6 pm mtn (both days) here at Children’s Service Society of Utah.
